Description
Halla is a rebranding project for a citrus winery on Jeju Island, South Korea, repositioning a local product as a premium souvenir brand for global travelers. The project spans brand naming, logo design, label design, and full brand system development. The identity is built around a custom typographic symbol that merges Hangul and the Latin alphabet, reflecting Jeju's dual identity as both a deeply Korean place and a destination for the world.

The primary target audience is travelers visiting Jeju. The brand concept centers around the idea of a "Gift," aiming to make the wine an attractive souvenir for these visitors.
I have named the brand "Halla," inspired by Hallasan, the iconic mountain symbolizing Jeju Island. The vision for this brand is to become synonymous with Jeju souvenirs.

Jeju Island is renowned for its natural beauty, and I aimed to capture this essence in the brand design. The brand symbol I created consists of two main components. The upper part features two Korean consonants representing Hallasan, combined with Jeju’s sunrise over the sea. The lower part incorporates the English letters spelling "Halla," showcasing the beautiful sunset of Jeju. This design strives to create a strong, memorable symbol that resonates both locally and globally, positioning Halla as an emerging global wine brand.
